i hate ebay

i bid on an oscar de la renta wedding dress, and a minute before the auction ended, someone outbid me. i was the only bidder up until the end. that ticks me off. i hate it when people do that! i was so excited on the prospect of winning. now i have to resume dress shopping.

That happens all the time. I heard there is an option on e-bay where the system automatically keeps bidding for you up to a certain amount you decide on. It is a pain in the azz, but also saves someone from having to constantly check to see if you were outbid.

There are people who do this - bid on auctions at the last minute. You can sign up for the service where ebay will send you text messages letting you know you were outbid and then you have the option of placing another bid through the text message.

i wish ebay would not post how many days were left, and not include time in minutes and hours.

everyone does it...i know i have! It sux i know but thats 1 way most ppl usually win. Is there another dress (same 1) up for bid? Sometimes even the seller outbids from another name only bc they wanna increase the selling price!

Little tip to Ebay - put in a high maximum bid. Keep refreshing the page every 30 seconds or so. I 'steal' Coach bags from people all the time that way

That stinks!! Just think of it this way.....there was a reason that someone outbid you...maybe that wasnt 'the one' and you will find it somewhere else and be sooo happy that you didnt win the auction!!!
