I an't wait till the Superbowl is over too. Frankie was wearing his Jets jerey today, and was listening to the game in the car since we had alot of stuff to do today.

What a great thread! My FH and his 3 friends have season tickets to the Jets - he comes home every Sunday stinking of beer and BBQ. I just crack up. The funniest part is one of these friends got married last night so they had to sell their playoff tickets! They were so upset- especially since it was the first time the Jets have been in the playoffs in ages. We spent the entire time between the ceremony and reception at a bar watching the game. They are already talking about going to San Diego for the Super Bowl. Keep dreaming...

the worst is when their teams LOSE and then there is like a week long depression what is that about?! i agree, my FH needs some form of counseling! this is a funny thread!

Anybody else have the FI/DH with the superstitions???

Last week FI wore his Jets jersey to watch the game and to work on Monday. Since the Jets won, he has to repeat this again this week. He wore the jersey yesterday, so now I'm washing his jersey as we speak so he can wear it to work again tomorrow

My FH is addicted to Sports Center! He went to the Jets game yesterday all day ... and came home sick as a dog! I was like you are not 18 anymore... serves him right! ( Not really do not mean to be mean, but it is almost 1 in the afternoon and he is still sleeping...UGH!)

This is so funny... I haven't been on for the past day!!! I was at the Jets game yesterday- 41 to 0. Today, I have an bm tea-party and FI is going watch the Giants game with his father. The things I have to do!!! You guys have no idea how cold it was yeesterday- I tailgated with like layers on!!!

I hate football as well! FH and my dad and all FH's friends are obsessing about the JETS AND GIANTS! I think it's cute that they watch it together (FH and my dad) I don't mind @ All, like someone said-it gives me time to do what I want!

I love football just as much as my FH. I guess he's lucky, huh? I also love baseball and hockey, so we're pretty good together!

I got used to liking football. Wasn't my cup of tea at first. FH likes football, basketball and baseball (my favorite) and with one tv in his room, I am forced to watch a sport of sorts. Watching games on screen is no comparison to watching them live! After going to a couple of basketball games I see why FH loves sports so much.

I would rather he be glued to the tv watching sports than watching something else...

I LOVE the superbowl, only for the commercialsl!!! One year JUST FOR FEET had this commercial and you had to guess how many time JFF appeared in the commercial for a hummer, i didint win the car, but i won 30 tshirts!! LOL

True, they could be doing worse things, but they have to learn what the word COMPROMISE means. It means he watches maybe one big game, then we spend time together. Not, he watches football ALL day, then watches the replays on ESPN, then logs onto his message boards to chat with other guys and smack talk their teams until 1:00 a.m. My guy turns into a total psycho when he watches football (college football). When his team is losing he'll stand up in front of the tv (he's by himself) and scream long sentences of obscenities at the tv. I just absolutely hate what football does to him. I'm sick of it. Now that college football is over, there's college BASKETBALL! Grrrrrr!!!! I'll never win!

My FH is a football coach... so he's pre-occupied most of the time with football. We watch games together... I don't mind that... but when he's away at camp or working lots of hours... i miss him But then again... I am glad that he gets to do something that he absolutely loves...

I like sports but my FH husband watches every single one on TV. If it was just football or baseball I could handle it but its every sport. He can watch sportscenter all day every day. I understand that he loves his sports and so we have agreed that as long as we have at least 2 tv's the marriage will last. LOL Football is probably the worst season but at least it isn't on as often as some other sports.
