I hate getting a new phone number

I have been getting wrong calls all day

Tell me about it!!! I've had my phone number for 5 years now and STILL get calls for the guy who had it before me!!! AAHHHH!!!!

omg i so know how you feel!! when we moved into the house in jan we got optimum's triple play thing and they wouldnt let me take my old number (they have since started letting people keep their old # ) anyway not only is it a strange extension... for the first month at least we got calls for some diamond chic (name not the stone). apparently her father died, so we had people calling from ALL over the country at ALL hrs of the night . it got to the point where we were like we know, her dad died, we are sorry about that, this is not her #, and if u speak to anyone else can you tell them that too

Yeah now its happening with my cell phone but our house phone.. meanwhile we have had that number for 2 years, and I feel SO bad b/c one a month this little girl.. she sounds maybe 6-8 years old and she has an accent calls CRYING looking for her sister. We pick up and try to tell her that her sister must have changed her number but she dosent understand. She yells in to the machine ' if you don't pick up your phone we are not friends any more and I will never love you again' and other times she just cries BEGGING her sister to pick up!! It breaks our hearts!!! Even the mother of this girl has called and left messages ( we think its chinese) and we cant understand but she is crying also...... so sad

OMG! I know exactly how you feel! I got a new # a couple of months ago and the person who had the number before me must have had bad credit because banks, credit cards companies, and bill collectors call EVERYDAY! When I tell them there is no such person they just say oh OK and call back again and again and again.....probably because they don't believe me and think I am the other person dodging their calls!!! I really do not know what to do!AHHHHHHHHHHHHH
