I hate money

Ugh...I'm just down today ladies. I hate that everything costs money...and that it costs A LOT of money. Its going to cost like $1000 to move FH/FSD out here, and we need a bed and some furniture and we need money to get an apartment...and FH STILL hasn't found a job out here, so if July comes around (everyone at his current job is getting laid off at the end of June) and he still doesn't have a job he's coming out here anyway...but we won't be able to get an apt, since we'll have no money. My parents said we can stay with them for a little while, but there's not enough room for my parents, me, FH AND FSD...so we'd probably leave her for a couple of weeks in Ohio with his parents...but then we'd be spending money for FH to fly back there a couple of times to see FSD...its just more money and more money and I'm worried that my savings is not enough and what if we run out of money??? Ughhhh....if he could just get a job I'd feel a lot better about everything else. If I could sell my car I'd feel A LOT better because then I'd feel like we had more than enough money...but who wants to buy a car in this economy???

Sorry...I just needed to vent.

ETA: FH is in IT...he does server admin work and he's a microsoft certified technician...if ANYONE knows of ANYTHING we'd be eternally grateful...I'd invite you to our wedding as the guest of honor!!

Anywho - with that being said, my thoughts are with you guys! It will work out one way or another...

so sorry this is stressing you out so much but like others said things will eventually work out.

what kind of work does your FH do?? has he looked at maybe two part time jobs for a little while?

It is good to get stuff like that off your chest, coz all it will do is start to eat you up inside, so don't ever feel sorry about venting, coz we are all here to be supportive.

That being said....I always have everyone here in my thoughts and prayers, because we all need it during these times.

That *****! I think he should look for a part time job or two just to have until he finds a good full-time job. He may be waiting around forever for a full-time job. I have been looking for a new job since December with no luck

I hope everything gets better. I think almost all of us are in the same situation, that money BLOWS. I am so stressed about not being able to afford a living condition with FH even though both of us work so hard.

What does FH do? Maybe someone on the boards knows of people who are hiring?

FH and I are worried about money too. We just bought a house and will be barely getting by until we get new jobs. I have my 3rd interview for a new position sometime this week...wish me luck!

I had no idea how much a wedding costs until we started planning! Everything is thousands of dollars, not hundreds of dollars. I always try to remind myself, though, that a wedding is a huge lifetime event and that it's an investment in happiness and memories that'll last forever.

Where do you live? I work for a city hospital and on occassion they have IT posting. Go to the www.nyc.gov website and look under Health and Hospitals

Also, try Monsters.com or one of those sites he can post his resume and people respond to him Or try an agency it may not be the best money that way but it would be something and he might get a permanent position out of it.
