I went to bridal reflections for my first fitting on Saturday and I really hate my dress now. i ordered it last February (very stupid decission on my part), from a trunk show so i haven't been able to visit or see it since then i don't know what to do. Have any of you ever loved a dress, or thought you did, and hated after seeing so many others after the fact???? I really don't have the time or money to put into another gown and i am so upset by this I didn't take any pictures at my fitting because i cried the entire time

Are you kidding me your dress is sick!!! I LOVE it!! Don't be upset I always see other dresses (like seeing yours) and I'm like damn I wish I had that dress....but Hey we all picked our dresses for a reason...and That reason being.. is we fell in love with it!!! You made a great choice!!

The dress is beautiful and so are you. You are going to look amazing on the big day! Once it is the day, your hair and makeup is done and your honey sees you... you are going to feel like the princess you ought to feel like.

I think it's important for YOU to feel beautiful and happy on your wedding day. If you really hate the dress that much, I suggest you go last minute dress shopping and get one off the rack. You could always get last minute alterations at a tailor shop. Then you could sell your dress on eBay.
One girl I knew bought a dress 2 weeks before her wedding because she was supposed to get a custom tailored dress by her friend but that friend got sick and couldn't finish.
She looked stunning. You would never have known that it was a rushed dress.

I cant believe you do not like it I had a Stephen Yearick and his work is amazing i havent seen one I did not like, yours is beautiful next time please let us see you in it.........go back again and visit it maybe you will change your mind

I know this probably isnt going to help you feel any better, but your fiancee is going to lose it when he sees you walk down the aisle in that dress on your wedding day. Why? Because he loves you and to him you are the most gorgeous woman in the world. All he is going to be thinking about is how beautiful you look and how lucky he is. I went through the same problem with my dress, but then I thought about what matters most on the day, me and my FH, and what is he going to think of me in my dress. By the way, I love your dress!

I think your dress is beautiful!! And I think (i hope) it might not be so weird to feel like you hate it. I think I hate the dress that I bought and I've been thinking of ways to get rid of it and get another dress. I really hope that you change your mind and once you have your make-up and veil you will love it.

OMG, When I scrolled down and saw the picture I actually gasped! That is so incredibly gorgeous and I swear I wouldnt just say that. I wish I would have seen that!!!!! Its beautiful.

I am by no means a fan of flowers on dresses, shirts or anything clothing related. However, that dress is STUNNING!!! I tried on something very very similar at a Vera Wang trunk sale, and had it fit I would have bought it in a heartbeat!!

Seriously I am assuming that w/ all the stress your going through right now, with your wedding months away, on top of all the stress from Day to day, you may just be having doubts due to that.. UI'm sure once it's on you you will feel beautiful like you & your dress are.
Who did you go shopping for the dress with? You trust them, right that's why they went shopping w/ you. If you & they loved your dress enough to buy it last year, I hope your feelings change....

I love your dress i think it is AMAZING and you probably look awesome in it ..dont sweat it ..the problem is you feel you ordered to soon and have seen so many others since then ..and i have had friends that have felt that same way ...and they looked and felt beautiful the day of there weddings...Good Luck ...
i agree with the other post...go get your hair makeup done and see how you like it then ...

I think you will lok beautiful I happen to love the dress it is so UNIQUE. But, if you are that unhappy, throw it on e-bay with a reserve price and see where that goes. If you can recover most of the cost get something else you really want. Good luck. Keep us posted.
