I went to bridal reflections for my first fitting on Saturday and I really hate my dress now. i ordered it last February (very stupid decission on my part), from a trunk show so i haven't been able to visit or see it since then i don't know what to do. Have any of you ever loved a dress, or thought you did, and hated after seeing so many others after the fact???? I really don't have the time or money to put into another gown and i am so upset by this I didn't take any pictures at my fitting because i cried the entire time

Its a great dress. Think about it, its a dress that you'll were for one day of your entire life. Any dress you get you will look beautiful in. Don't stress! It will grow on you, there was something about it that you fell in love with in the first place right?

The dress is beautiful. I am a 2 dress bride, I hated my first dress. I LOVE my new dress, but am really regretting not just sucking it up with the first one. I wasted a LOT of my moms money. I feel real bad about it. Here's what I suggest- get your hair done real nice- then go try it on again. Have a crazy photo session. I really really love my new dress, but the guilt sickens me. Otherwise, go shopping. Almost any shop will sell you their sample dress, for way cheap, and off the rack. Good luck, I know how you're feeling, it's an awful feeling. But the dres sis really quite beautiful.

That dress is gorgeous!!! I've never seen something like that. I kind of went through that, thought I made my decision too early...but I made it and put the deposit down so the decision was made and the more I thought about it the more I loved it. I'm sure you look gorgeous in it...and on that day your FI is going to see you and how beautiful you are and nothing else will matter!

Thank you Girls I know that I am probably just being difficult but I've never been so sad about anything in my life! I'm starting to wonder if i really loved the dress, or just loved the fact that I was in a wedding dress. either way, there's no turning back now, i really don't have the time or money to do so at this point. I agree after ordering my dress so soon and then seeing all these other beautiful dresses I second guess alot!!! but your dress is beautiful honestly!!!

I feel the same way about mine if that makes you feel better, although I'm sure it doesn't. I honestly agree with everyone that your dress is gorgeous -really stunning and I don't think the flowers are too much at all, its a very elegant cut on the dress so its not. Anyway, that being said, I know how you feel - my focus is a) at second fitting have hair nice, etc. and Im sure it will feel better to you and b) as someone said to me, its your wedding day you will look gorgeous no matter what and you won't be thinking about it at all then and everyone will notice how beautfiul you are!

I'm so sorry you feel that way, however, I don't agree! I think your dress is gorgeous! It's so vintage and romantic, I'm sure if you give yourself some time, maybe visit it again, and bring some friends to compliment you and how you look in it, maybe you'll feel better by then. It's a stunning dress, and I've never seen anything like it. I hope you feel better soon!

I don't think the dress is UGLY. It is different and looks very regal actually. No bride in the world can be ugly, I've never seen it and I don't think anyone has. If you LOVED the dress at one point there must've been something that caught your attention about it. Since theres nothing you can do now I'd just get fitted and not look at it again until your wedding day. I'm sure you'll be a beautiful bride! XOXOXO Kitty

I think your dress is pretty and very feminine. Try to remember what it was that initially caught your eye about this dress. Wait and relax things can look different when the entire picture is completed i.e. veil, shoes, make-up ect....
