It STILL doesn't fit, I hate it, I hate that I can't sit in it. When I tried on the sample, it was not like this. The seamstress told me not to worry and it will be perfect. I was crying at the salon, and I'm crying now because FH is just like, so you lose 5 more pounds, but I am awful at losing weight.

Is the sample the same size your ordered? Or is it not so much the size as it is the fit? When I got my dress I was a wreck- the sample looked completely different on because it was so much bigger than my actual size. The seamstress ended up being able to fix it (for the most part- it wasn't 100% the way I wanted, but I dealt with that).
Could you bring it elsewhere? Does it just not fit at all or do you not like the way it fits?

The way it looks is fine....I can't breathe in the dress....is this normal for brides? The store owner said brides like their dresses to fit tight. I'm a mess right now. I think I'm going to my wedding naked.

If it is any consolation, I tried on my dress again (for the second time) and they need to take it out...I need to lose 5 pounds!!!

I agree completely! There has to be something they can do to make it more comfortable. If they say no, I would try to take it somewhere else for a second opinion.

so sorry it's uncomfortable i hope they can fix it!
that said, i'd like to point out that i couldn't breathe either when i had my fittings because i was just so nervous. on the wedding day itself, i was fine. maybe it's nerves & excitement?

I agree. Just make sure you bring every little thing to the seamstresses attention! She can't help you unless your completely candid with her. Good luck, don't stress too much though!

my dress was tight, but the week of the wedding I lost 6lbs and it fit perfectly. I had my final fitting 5 days before (because I was worried that I would need them to let it out) my wedding and I picked my dress up 2 days before.

Thank you everyone for your kind words.....I've been freaking out since yesterday and am somewhat calm now....haven't eaten anything yet, and I'm afraid to eat now.
barb, yes I'm still as skinny as I was at the party.....FH thinks losing weight is easy and loves going to the gym so he thinks this is a piece of cake
