I know a couple who just went on their honeymoon there last summer I think and it was AMAZINGGGG, you're going to have an awesome time!!! Ignore 'em!!!

Why do they even think it's such a bad idea (not that it's any of their concern, but if they had a good reason, then maybe it at least wouldn't be so frustrating...........) but to make a special phone call... It does sound like they're jealous....

We are going to Thailand too! My parents were also nervous and couldn't understand why we wanted to go there. A lot of people, sad to say, are somewhat ignorant about that part of the world. A lot of people don't realize that there are beautiful sights to see and cultures to experience outside of their comfort zone!

Just remember that you are more cultured than your friends saying that Thailand is just slums, hookers, and drugs

And btw, when you start planning your trip, lets talk because I'm going in November, just a month before your wedding!!!
