I hate my life

The apartment we live in has been sold, so we have to be out before the end of December. We won't be closing on our house until January 15th - so we are homeless for about 3 weeks It just suc-ks cause we will probably stay at my parents house, but the apartment was within 5 minutes of the new house, so moving would have been tolerable, but now we have to move twice Plus we may have to be out before Christmas, which kind of ruins the whole 'first married Christmas' This was going to be our first Christmas living together, and now it just feels ruined.

Feeling gloomy.

I know it's hard to see the silver lining, but the important thing isn't where you're living so much that you and DH will be together for Christmas!!

I'm sorry, Suz, that is such crappy news.

I can sympathize with you on the first married Christmas. We have been living with my parentals. Too long of story.
It's not too long for you. Don't worry! YOu'll make next Christmas extra special!!

You have a lifetime of Christmases ahead of you as husband and wife! Can you put your stuff in storage so you don't have to find room for them elsewhere?

My sister had to do that, with a 2 year old and infant in tow, staying in my parent's 1 bedroom cottage for a month. But in the end, it's the sacrifices you make and when it's all said and done, you will be a homeowner!

Def do this!!! Or like in that Friends episode where Monica & Chandler celebrated Valentine's Day 2 weeks later bc of their work schedules. You could christen your new house with this outfit!!
