i hate my school - so upset

i'm suppose to be graduating in may and i just get an email from the graduation audit people telling me that the individual study i'm doing in polish( 15 page paper in polish) is not going to satisfy my language requirment. ***...? It's a 300 level class, higher then the 202 class i was suppose to take but couldn't because of schedule conflict with another class. and all the advisors said it was goint to be fine.

Now i'm going to be running around school all day trying to getthis taken care of.

I remember when you first posted about this issue and you were upset then and now they are doing this!

oh god. can't you appeal? i remember at least once in college taking a class description to the dean and having it approved as an alternative. my experience is that advisement departments often have no fn clue what they're talking about.

dont feel bad when i was graduating college, 1 hr before the ceremony, they told me i didnt complete a requirement.. but i could walk... my family was at the house already and everything...

so messed up... so i am not suprised

Oh that ***** I'm sorry. I know how you feel about schools being annoying to get your credits satisfied. I had that happen to me in undergrad and something similar just happened to me with my masters. I've learned to always be prepared for them to change their mind (ie. keep things in writing), and go balistic on them when that happens.

oh i hope you get it worked out - did you have it in writing? when i graduated undergrad in 3 years instead of 4 i made sure i had eveyrthing in writing...
