WOW- I don’t know what to think right now. one of my co-worker's sister just got engaged and I guess her friends are helping her plan the wedding. My co worker wants to be the most helpful so they're arguing a bit. I guess one of the bridesmaids suggested red/black as colors and she came up to me and is like “wow, why would ANYONE want a red & black themed wedding?”
To which I played dumb and I was like wow, yeah, I don’t know…but now I feel like wow our wedding is ugly. W T F Lady????
(I should add our colors are white/red/black)
Edited/Update: FH took me out for sorbet during lunch and told me to consider the source and to ignore her. I feel better, now I'm laughing about it, but I was just super stressed and the thought of someone bashing my wedding colors (whether they knew they were or not) put me over the edge. Thanks for all the support Ladies!!! Now I'm kind of waiting for her to btch again about her sister's wedding colors so I can be like hey, f off, they're mine too!!!

First of all that girl is an idiot!!! Second...red, black, and white are beautiful colors!!! Everyone is going to have different opinions on what they like and don't like. Don't worry about other people's opinions. It's your day, not theirs!!

Green was our main color.

Don't feel bad.....my wedding colors are black and white, white a bit of hot pink (my shoes!), so I guess according to your co-worker, my wedding is gonna be ugly too....
And if you think that's bad....the first time FMIL and I discussed wedding plans, she asked me what my colors were going to be, and said 'I hope it's not black!'...I guess I made a face or something because she immediately retracted it.

My colors are Red, Black and White too. I think it is the best colors for me. I really love it and i personally think it is very elegant. Every color scheme can look tacky depending on how it is done. But our weddings won't.
