Go in and demand your money back. Also, tell them you are filing a complaint with the better business bureau. I dealt with the same crap from a bridal store, but they gave my family member their deposit back without saying boo after I called them. They don't have any lawyer they are trying to make you go away. Don't back down.

Awwww that stinks!! I hope everything turns out o.k. ....and I hope Pedestals loses some business for their bad customer service and lack of understanding. You would think that a well established company like them wouldn't screw ppl over like that over a couple of hundred dollars (which to them is probably nothing)...I know I'm definitely crossing them off my list of florists to visit!!! Thank you for the heads up!

When we first booked with Flower's by Burton, we were sold by the way our salesperson was stoked over our colors, etc. Turns out, she no longer works there. We ended up finding this out at our appointment a few weeks ago. At that meeting we sat with the owner (I know he was the owner because FH and him were talking corvettes) and he reassured us that things would not be changed. He actually threw in a few more things when he saw how disappointed we were, or maybe it was the male bonding thing. IDK

This just doesn't make sense to me, at all. Why would he 'fire' you and make you go elsewhere because you changed what you wanted? It just doesn't make any sense to me.

Did you speak with Virgil at all? Since he is the one who it looks like is really at blame here ... wondering what he has to say about the whole thing.

This honestly just seems so unlike Robert AND Pedastals that I can't help but wonder if there is something else at work here.

At any rate I'm sorry you are having florist issues, and I hope it gets worked out.

I'm sorry you are dealing with this. I didn't have a good experience with them for either my engagement party or wedding consultations. I def didn't get a good vibe. Sorry again.

OMG! I can believe that!! How did YO violate anything when it was one of HIS employees that changed things. I would definitely take my business elsewhere and fight the deposit!!

I went for a quote the other day and met with Rich. He put a price next to each piece I was adding and told me I could add or take away at any time. I was really considering them but I guess I'm not so sure now Is there any way you could speak to the actual owner?
