ok well i hate to be a complainer!!!!! but........after spending the weekend with FSIL i must get some things off my chest!!!!

Her wedding was three years ago and yet she is comparing everything of hers to mine and mine didnt even happen yet!!!On top of that she is making up stupid lies about it.....like i showed her my boquet that i picked out and i mentioned that it consisted of 3 dozen flowers.....well instead of saying thats nice she was like o yeah mine was like SIX DOZEN FLOWERS!!!!!can i say then she is telling me that she had 250 people at her wedding when i remember that she only had 180 ( i was one of her bm's and helped her with everything!) so basically im wondering is she just going to keep going on and on !!!!! ok thanks ladies!

Jackie...I know that can be so annoying BUT maybe it will make you feel better knowing that what she does/says is compeletely out of jealousy and not in meant to be malicious. It's your moment in the sun right now and it's hard for her to be stuck in the shade. When our big days are over I think a lot of us may feel little like..ok I had all of this excitement and attention for the past year plus and now the day is over..what do I do now?!?!?! Don't let it get to you. Maybe she will get the hint if you don't talk about the wedding to her??

shes just jealous! sibling jealousy - i go through that with my FSIL - and shes younger than me and FH - and I just dont understand it - why must they compare and try to be better?

anyways - dont worry abt it too much - shes just envious, and wishes that it was her turn - again .. and will always try to make herlsef look the better one.

second of all: you totally have the right to be venting about this!!! she is crazy-- six dozen roses?!! even if that were true she would have to be popeye to lift the thing... who is she kidding?!

so many girls do this- compare, compare, compare!! i'm sure it must be so annoying. my fsil is not that bad but occasionally she will, when i'm picking out things for my wedding, talk about when she gets married (mind you NO ring on the finger) how she will do things. it's like well, we will cross that bridge when we get there!!

so i totally understand how you feel and she is probably just jealous b/c her day is over and your day/planning is just beginning... what i try to do with my fsil and anyone who is a pain in the butt is AVOID. i avoid showing her and talking to her about things because i realized that it was just inevitably making me upset, and that helped.

is that sad? definitely. should you have to do that? of course not!! should you be able to talk about your big day to everyone? hell yes! but unfortunately in this world sometimes avoidance is the best thing, i'm soooo sorry!!!

but here are some hugs and we're here for ya!!

you mad a great point!!!! after her wedding she had absolutely no use for me or FH! her maid of honor was pregnant so basically i was the maid of honor! i was very upset after her wedding bc FH and i were prettty much just treated like we were no one! but your right some ppl are just only into themselves and things that involve them....shes def one of those girls!

I know exactly how you feel. I have two FSIL and I cant stand one of them.....She never talks to me, when she comes to the house she walks right past me, says hello to everyone but me. She is a great artist and FH asked her for help on something for the wedding once and she said that she will help only if it could be her wedding gift to us......
I can go on and on about all the other things she has done to us but it will take up 10 pages!!!

Right now I am just trying to learn to let everything roll of my shoulders with her.

She is a great artist and FH asked her for help on something for the wedding once and she said that she will help only if it could be her wedding gift to us......

Right now I am just trying to learn to let everything roll of my shoulders with her.
