I am not a fan of guilt trips. If they weren't able to offer the better deal, then they shouldn't have mentioned it!

Our DJ company kept saying 'I gave you this great deal' or 'I gave you a slammin deal' whenever we talked about anything. We negotiated but we definitely lost out on having more control over certain aspects because of it.

oh you're absolutely right, i agree with the more money in your pocket thing and i should not feel bad, its not that i feel bad, its just annoying cuz you could always find someone else who will give you the deal and not rub it in your face at every turn.

I usually don't care - they're not giving me the absolute best deal ever. They're knocking a few bucks off of an overpriced service. I never feel guilty!!
