I have a confession to make....

In case no one has noticed yet, I am the groom part of the (future) bride and groom. My fiance and I found this website when we were doing our initial research, and I am addicted to it now. I am just so excited about everything for our wedding. I am probably the only guy to come on here. I love just reading everything. My fiance has a profile too, but she lost her password so hasn't been on in a while. She just got it back. She is always giggling at me when I see her after work and I am telling her all about what I read on the website. So there, I am out of the closet so to speak. And if anyone needs the grooms point of view, just ask.

That's so great, it will be nice to have a male's perspective on the site. It's also great to hear a groom who is just as excited about planning the wedding as the brides are!

Okay, here's my question.
My fiance wants to wear the ugliest most obnoxious tux I have ever seen. My work mates say he is pulling my leg and this is just a guy thing. Well is it a guy thing to drive me crazy to the point of wanting to commit murder?

I think it is so wonderful!! My FH wouldn't actually come here (not a huge computer fan), but he has come to the point where he says 'did you check it out on the boards'.

Debbie, i think he is probably just kidding. i think he knows what a big deal this is and would want himself to look great. we just went to look at tux's and i joked around saying i wanted some of the ugly ones.
Mickeya1a-we haven't gotten that far yet. If i was to want something, i'm not sure. you could go the way of a flask/beer mug type of thing with their names engraved. do they all like golf? you could get boxes of really good golf balls. i guess it depends. what about something different like a bunch of steaks from omaha steaks? its kind of hard cause its usually the same type of thing for most bridal partys. you'll come up with something.

we went to look at tuxes last nite for the first time, so nothing concrete yet. all i know is no bow tie and cumberbun thing. we are all gonna have the same style but i will have a different colored vest and tie.
