In case no one has noticed yet, I am the groom part of the (future) bride and groom. My fiance and I found this website when we were doing our initial research, and I am addicted to it now. I am just so excited about everything for our wedding. I am probably the only guy to come on here. I love just reading everything. My fiance has a profile too, but she lost her password so hasn't been on in a while. She just got it back. She is always giggling at me when I see her after work and I am telling her all about what I read on the website. So there, I am out of the closet so to speak. And if anyone needs the grooms point of view, just ask.

Ok..now that you are the resident male I have a question that will probably apply to lots of girls here.
What is the deal with men being so adverse to dancing?
We are taking lessons and my FH gets a knot in his stomach just thinking about dancing at the LESSONS (even though he really likes the instructor and no one else is watching)!! How do I get him more comfortable for the big day?

My FI is good about coming with me to visit vendors & has gotten involved in picking the DJ & menu (according to him - as long as the food & music is good - he's happy) -- but he is totally uninterested in the nitty-gritty stuff. I gotta admit though....although part of me wishes he was more involved -- part of me is kinda relieved because I get to do most stuff the way I want...
So, what'd ya think of the brazilian bikini wax thread? LOL

Matt is definately not a big dancer. But I will say this...We got engaged the night before Valentines day. So when we went out to dinner the next night I was not expecting a Valentines day present. Matt hands me an envelope at dinner and inside was the certificate for our dance lessons. He said they would come in handy. We haven't started yet but we are both very excited! He promised he will dance that day. I think your FI will be fine. Everyone will be up dancing and he will just get caught up in it all.

You rock Matt! My FH is an occasional 'lurker' ... sometimes he will click on the link i have on my links bar when he is using my computer or will read the board alongside me!

I think this is wonderful of you to take such an interest! Your bride to be is a really lucky gal! My FH, I'm glad to say has also been actively involved inthe planning, but occaisionally needs to remove himself from all the decision making. This is usually when he makes a trip to home depot and buys himself a new tool that he can use to help us remodle our new house (LOL)! At least I will be getting the hard wood floors I want!
ANYWAY...... Welcome aboard! I'm sure you will be swamped with questions from us brides!
