I just learned how to crochet and I am having troubles with my ends...
I started off with a chain of 20 - did a single row of 20 but then when I started my double row it went to 19 then the next row 18 stiches...when I try to add stiches to make it an even number to the row before it dosent looks right
what do i do ? is it normal for the stiches to decrease like this??
TIA

Re: I Have a crocheting question......
You have to add a turning chain/turning chains to the end of each row in addition to the 20 stitches. The number you need depends on which type of stitch you are using. For example a single crochet, you'll need one turning chain; for a double crochet, you'll need three turning chains.

The turning chains count as a stitch.
