THANKYOU so much everyone. I am alright..just shaken up. I dont understand why everything bad is happening to me. Its not like Im mean to people and ' what comes around goes around'..I just dont understand. My parents are convinced someone tampered with the truck..I couldnt for the life of me think who would do that, especially since I wasnt even suppsed to be driving it..I never drive that truck, so if someone did tamper with it, they meant it for my FH and he doesnt have a single enemey. He actually takes very good care of our vehicles, always making sure everything is safe..this is just a freaky thing., Hes beating himself up because I had called him just before that telling him there was something wrong..and he told me Id be fine. Its just so wierd.
But the point is everyone is safe..it could have been really horrible, had a car been directly behind me and hit me, I was told my car could have flipped. I just got lucky that the lanes were clear so that I could fly across all of the lanes until that truck stopped.
One thing I did learn, is that if a tire comes off, pressing on the brakes only makes it worse..use the emergency..I think thats what saved me..because I could not stop that truck..until I pulled on the emergency brake. I swear it was my angel..I thought I was about to meet my maker..so I prayed and then bam my senses came to me and I pulled out the brake. UGH!!!!
My parents told me to drive as soon as possible, as to NOT be afriad..Ill wait until my truck gets out of the shop..I dont ever want to drive my FH's truck again..I hate that truck!
But THANKYOU everyone for your hugs..it seems liek every week I have some type of drama...Im like a walking soap opera..and it means alot to me that you all are so sweet and that I can come here to vent!

Alicia, OMG!! I'm so glad you are ok! It sounds like just a freaky thing that happened, but you were smart to pull the emergency brake. I'm glad the other man is alright as well. I agree with your parents, definately drive again and soon, you do not want to make this into a phobia for yourself. I also believe in angels.

yes..thankyou everyone!!!! Everyone is ok ,.noone was seriosuly injured..I just got lucky and had free reign of the parkway so I could fly across it until the truck could stop. I didnt hit anyone and noone hit me. My tire did hit a van on the other side of the parkway..but he is ok too. THANKGOD!! I am fine today..its my FH that had nightmares all night long..hes feeling really bad. Its not his fault.its noones fault. It just ****s right now because i have no vehicle at all. He is driving his company work truck, mine should be ready today by 5. Ive had some crappy things happen, but Jess2 reminded me that only good things have come out of them..so should be feeling lucky and I do.Thanks everyone for your hugs and your concern!!!

My FH & I are beginning to think we have angels over us too.

I was driving in the rain on a 2 way (1 lane each) road, and a car was coming straight at me. There were trees on one side, on coming traffic on the other. The on coming traffic at the last minute stopped and I went into their lane, then back into mine AND NEVER GOT HIT.

I was in a car accident (2nd on, 1-year & 1-week apart, same friend, same car/town) and she shattered half her knee cap & in hospital 1 week, I was not wearing seatbelt and hit the windshield 2xs.....only broke my nose slightly. AMAZING!!

My FH & I were ony motorcycle and a deer was in the street, and at the last minute we missed it. by like 2 inches.


I am not even going to go into how before FH & I started dating we would call each other (after not talking for months) on exact days that a loved one passed away.

I could go on but I think we are being protected!!!

So glad you are ok. What a scary experience.
