I have a huge problem...

I need some advice. I have a friend from high school who is thinks she is going to be my maid of honor.
In High school we were close, but we have grown apart. I really don't talk to her that much.
Not only does she think she is my MH she is telling everyone that she is.
I don't even know if I want her in my bridal party at all, let only be my MH.
How do I let this girl know that she needs to stop assuming that she is the MH while being polite to her? Is that possible?
HELP!

Decide whether or not if she will be in the BP at all. Because if she is, then I'll tell you exactly what to say. Who do you intend on being your MOH??

This is funny . . .I had a similiar problem with 3 girls all self proclaimed MOH's. I ultimately decided not to have a MOH at all.

Re: I have a huge problem...

I am having a similar problem with one of my close friends. Not that I don't want her in my bridal party, because I do, but she hasn't given me the chance to ask. I am just delaying the formal asking part until my FI has decided on his guys.

Personal opinion, if she is nice enough and not a malicious person whose presence at your wedding you would have to worry about, have her in your bridal party, but let her know who your MoH choice is and tell her why. You may not owe her an explanation, but she will behave better is she knows that you are asking someone else because the other person 1) helped you through a difficult time 2) introduced you to your future husband 3) is family etc.

Good luck!

I would def. consider before speaking to her whether or not she will be a part of your BP. Then talk it out.. if she is a good friend she will under stand

Re: I have a huge problem...

thanks for comments. I don't know if she will or not be in the BP.
She has a tendency to be a drama queen and I really don't want drama at my wedding.
She is one of those people who might 'accidently' do something hateful and mean.
I just want there tobe no drama at my wedding.
