I have a Invitation question please!

I have a Invitation question please!

do the invitations have to match the colors of your girls dresses or your wedding theme?

I am having a fall theme wedding with oranges, browns, reds, etc.

Girls dresses will either be burgandy [like a wine] or a cinnamon brown color.

I plan on doing pocketfold DIY invitations and I found an amazing kit from party city but it's a dark brown color.

Is that ok?

If they were pink invites I would say no way, but it's probably fine since brown is in your color scheme.

They don't have to match at all. No one is going to bring the invite to the wedding, and no one is going to notice if they match the colors.

These are the invites. and I plan on adding little leaves on them to give it the 'fall theme'

They do not have to match.
It would be nice if they tied in with the overall theme of your wedding.

those are really nice and definitely represent that you are having a fall wedding. According to David Tutera your invitations set the mood of your wedding.

I saw this kit online, is it dark brown in person? didnt get a chance to get to the store yet. It looks like it is a lighter brown from the website.

TIA!

ITA.

I was concerned about this too. But a lot of other LIW girls have reassured me that it's no big deal if the color doesn't match or it doesn't go with your theme.

Don't worry about it! Go with what you like!!

I dont think it has to be the same as the dresses or the theme, as long as its not complete opposite of what youre doing
