I cant not decided whether or not if i should get contacts for the wedding. I dont like things going near my eyes but i will suck it up for the wedding. What do u think?
Just thinking what FH would say if i wore glasses and got contacts...
'I want you to look like YOU...not a different person...' I say stick with your normal look...but if you think you will look back at pictures and be upset withg lasses then go for the contacts

I wore glasses, and now I wear glasses, it was the best decision I ever made, so you might end up liking it if you try (if you havent tried them before)

I say yes...I hate anything near my eyes too but I think for the wedding if I needed to I would do it!

I think if you normally wear glasses stick with that. If you are going to do the contact thing then I would get them a few months before the wedding so you and those around you are used to your 'new look' by the wedding.

I say stick to what FH likes or ask his opinion on what he thinks? I personally wear contacts and I love them. I can't imagine wearing glasses.

I can't stand contacts..I usually wear them at the beach or on vacation. But I will be wearing them at least for the ceremony. If they start bothering me at the reception, I'll take them out and put on my glasses.

I wear glasses but for the wedding I will wear my contacts.
A friend of ours got married in May and his wife is ALWAYS wearing her glasses and when she walked down the aisle she looked sooooo different b/c no one ever sees her w/o the glasses....
so its pretty much up to you.

Its funny you mentioned this, the other day me and my wedding planner were talking and she was like... so um glasses...or no glasses.. you can tell that she had been wanting to ask me this for awhile...
I hate my glasses, and I am planning on getting contacts soon. I don't even wear my glasses in pictures! I hate them so much! I say no glasses, get the contacts now so that you get used to them.

i would def get contacts way b4 ur wedding so you can get use to them...they can be a little uncomfortable at first....

im having the SAME DILEMMA!!!! I won't take pics with my glasses on EVER!!!! HATE THEM!! but I can't wear contacts when I do.... on a perm. basis my eye sight gets worse... and it's just not a good thing...but im debating getting a cheap disposable pair or 2 for the day of

I tried getting contacts last year before I got engaged but I had problem seeing and rading. I want to be able to see on my wedding day som I am going to stick with glasses.

I would get the contacts as soon as you can and try them out..they might not be for you..or you can end up LOVING them. It's a little freaky at first to touch your eye but you get sooo used to it, really quickly!!
I am the opposite..I've had my contacts out for the past 3days and its the longest i've gone without my contacts in about 7yrs...and these glasses are BUGGIN me!!!!

I say whatever makes you happy - if FH is used to seeing you one way I'd say try not to change it but you need to be comfortable
