I cant not decided whether or not if i should get contacts for the wedding. I dont like things going near my eyes but i will suck it up for the wedding. What do u think?

i would make this decision after you try a pair for awhile.. if you like them, then wear them for the wedding day, if you dont like them, you have you answer. they do take some time to get used to. it took me almost a month to be able to get used to putting my finger near my eye to put them in and out.. but honestly it was the best decision i ever made to get contacts. i see SO much better with them.

however you feel is going to make you feel more like you and more confident.... that confidence will show through in the pics!

ive been wearing contacts since the 7th grade and gettin lasik hopefully once i finish school in may!

Just wanted to share some old married lady advice

DH wears glasses. Every day. All day, from the time he gets out of bed until when he closes his eyes to go to sleep. And he hates the idea of contacts.

So, it sort of went without saying that he was gonna wear glasses at our wedding.

But his glasses were pretty old, and I noticed that in every picture of us for the last 6 years there's a glare in his lenses. Even in our engagement pics!

So my only request was that he got new glasses, with the glare resistant lenses. I didn't want him to change the shape or style ... and if he could have gotten new lenses for the old glasses, that would have been ok too. In the end he got new frames and everything. I am so glad that we did that ... no glare in the wedding pics!
