I have a meeting with pennylane today! Am I crazy?

my gosh - if u can swing it then GO FOR IT!!!!!!!!!!! i am so upset i only heard of Pennylane AFTER our wedding(and its a good thing 'cause DH probably woulda went nuts if i begged to spend that much mula!) lol. but for real - their stuff is amazing....their videos with the voice overs & such are unlike any videos i've ever seen. I'd just make sure of the price with all the special stuff they do - 'cause if u have to just go with a basic video it may not be worth it??? All i know is that I can't stop looking at their website & i was married almost a year ago....DH thinks i'm crazy!

haha ME TOO!! that's the problem...we actually ended up booking them. The voice over package is the platinum package...but FH doesn't like the idea of doing interviews...so we didn't add that in for now...Adam said we can always add it tho...I do LOVE them...but it doubled my video budget!!

I am so excited to work with him!! Even though it's extra $$$...I think it's worth it!! Now I'm more excited about the video than the photo!

I think you need to step back and ask yourself how many times you're realistically going to watch your video after you are married and then decide. Some people are home movie freaks and will watch them regularly. I didn't even get a video b/c I knew I'd never watch it and wouldn't want to watch it. I don't regret that decision at all. However, this is ME and we're talking about you. A video is clearly pretty important to you. Now you need to determine how important it is to you. Just try to envision it from the perspective of your wedding being over and your honeymoon being over. (Trust me, I'm way less interested in wedding stuff now that it's over -- and it's a good feeling, lol)

If you know you're a home movie buff and it means a lot to you (and you can afford it), then go with your gut.

i dont think you r nuts. i would do the same thing. sometimes you have to bite the bullet. otherwise you might totally regret it. a few hundres dollars is def worth the amazing memories you will have if you go with the 'right' company!!

Do I think i'll watch the video a lot...probably not...but we have a lot of family over seas that isn't coming and we want to be able to show them our wedding and I think pennylane will do an awesome job of that!!

YAY congrats pennylane is amazing and adam is great. Its great you'll get to show your family overseas your wedding since they cant make it, im gonna have to do the same . Plus you'll be surprised how many times you watch, FH's parents surprised us with video for our e-party and i LOOOVED watching it, and have seen it a couple of times already. Its great to her my MOH's speech again, and to hear it word for word, i remembered it but not word for word lol. Plus i got to see alot that i missed. For me i would also love for my kids to see it

I feel the same way!! Which package did u guys book? We got the 2 camera gold with the bride getting ready and the trailer. We MIGHT upgrade to the platinum later, but I don't think so. I love the 2 cameras and watching ppl's reactions to the vows and to the first dance...I was crying watching other ppl's, I can't imagine how i'll feel with mine!! Adam does such a nice job with capturing the emotion of the event. Originally, I hated wedding videos...I thought the were boring...until I saw adam's work...AMAZING!

well its mostly the interviews, and i think maybe 1 additional disc....yes im going to get the trailer...the good thing is that you dont pay half of the bill until after the wedding.

My point exactly!! Even though...the half is still more than my entire bill from my other videographer...but...u get what u pay for!! The trailer looks like a lot of fun!
