I have a question for anyone getting their MBA....

I am filling out my applications for early admissions & they are asking for my executive experience. Um, I have none, will this hurt my chances of getting accepted?

I dont have my MBA but I did my undergrad in Business Admin and know a few people who got theirs...and yes, you do need experience in most cases.

I think because the case studies are so intense you will have a better understanding of them with experience.

But I can understand why they want some experience. I have middle-m,anagement experience, but for short term projects only.

I'm getting my MBA right now and I got into a really good program at NYU with just my regular work experience. When I applied, I really had no management experience. I don't think it should matter unless you are applying for an Executive MBA which is a specific type of program.
