Crossing another bride at their RH?? I don't get it! i know you want to be the only bride of the day lol but if you know your hall hosts more than 1 at a time whats the big deal?? If i saw another bride id be like ' CONGRATS!!!!' and give a wave or something. I just dotn get why so many people are worried about this lol. I heard it online, on TV and from former brides who say i was so worried id run into the 'other bride:

I just don't see the big deal!

I don't see what the big deal is either. I also always wondered what the big deal of someone else wearing the same outfit at a party though so don't go by me, lol.

Shoot...I'd be like 'hey come take a pic with me!!' Thats why i really like LIW too because it gives us the opportunity to possibly get to know 'the other bride' before the day of so that we may actually have a friendship by then. I could care less about stuff like that. if ur getting married on the same day as me...god bless!

I wouldnt mind...but I see why people would want to be the only wedding at their location...

Most places try and stagger the bride and groom arrivals and pics anyway but there is always a possibilty...I never even thought about crashers...lol

At first I was a little nervous about it, but since I've talked to the other girls thats will be there the same day as me I'm more than ok with it now becaue they're super nice girls. I wouldn't even care if they came into my reception lol. And I'm hoping to get a picture with them!

i dont think its a matter of being affraid to see them.

I think for 1 many people like to be the only bride because they feel then the place is only taking care of them and their party

I think that many people are also concerned that guests might walk into the wrong party or not know where to go. there is a whole munch of little htings that i could see being of concern, (hearing their music, the staff being rushed or shared between parties, guests for diff parties arriving at the same time)

At our RH we are not the only party going on - its doesnt scare me, the one thing i worry about is the 2 parties starting too close together because i personally guests not being sure were to go, but it would be cool to see the other bride there!

i have no probs with another wedding i think there is a problem if it is a wedding factory style place where you have a number of weddings going on and its not a big place. Service will suffer slightly.

I do not think service really suffers with two or even three weddings going on unless there is a huge sick out or something. What i do worried about now is a reception is going on right above my head while i get married and I am not worried about hearing stuff but its too late now! Other then that I have no worries - then again march can be a 70 F day and we can be outside IoI

We booked our venue b/c there is only one wedding at a time there. Not because I want to be the only bride, but because I want the staff (including the kitchen) to have their time & focus solely on our wedding.

I say think of it as just a personal preference. I know some girls and their reason is that they want it to be in the spotlight, and they want it to only be them. Seeing another bride would take away the magic of their day.

I personally don't care, but I can understand and figure hey, there are things I'm obsessed with that others aren't.

I dont see the big deal either, if a bride wanted a one wedding a day they should have choosen a hall that caters to that. Even though my halls states that you wont see another bride that day, sometimes you never know, I dont care if I see another bride. I wil say HI and congratulate here

As an ex-catering hall worker I was set on booking a RH with only 1 wedding at a time. It's not so much the fact of 'crossing paths', it's more about having 100% dedication from the entire wait-staff. I know how it was to run around with other parties going on.....it was hard as a worker to keep up when 10 people are pulling you in a different direction. Also, I've seen brides flip out about not having spots within the RH to take pics, because other brides are there taking up time. If a bride with a BP of 10 is ahead of you, chances are you're missing out on something else while waiting for that spot. To me, this is one day and I expect it to run smoothly. I'd salute another bride as well....just not if she was taking time away from my wedding...I have a one finger salute to that one! lol

I would defiantly say congrats and everything if I ran into another bride, I think thats awesome! But I'm thankful our place only does one wedding at a time because I wanted the CH on the one side, and the reception on the other ((so I can sneak into the reception before anybody gets in there, and if we had the CH on the same side it wouldn't work, since we're not going to the CH))

Thats exactly why FH and I wanted a place that only holds one wedding. I dont care about seeing another bride at all, but I just want to know everyone can move about the building and not worry about stayin in one area just b/c...at the NRC we have the whole place to ourselves!!

I honestly could care less about seeing another bride or guests from another party. I think that these RH have been in the game long enought to have figured out how to make it work by now. If I see another bride I absolutely would take a pic and/or say hello to offer my congratulations. All I care about is keeping the libations flowing and the food yummy!!
