I have a question....why are so many brides so afraid of.......

Crossing another bride at their RH?? I don't get it! i know you want to be the only bride of the day lol but if you know your hall hosts more than 1 at a time whats the big deal?? If i saw another bride id be like ' CONGRATS!!!!' and give a wave or something. I just dotn get why so many people are worried about this lol. I heard it online, on TV and from former brides who say i was so worried id run into the 'other bride:

I just don't see the big deal!

I don't see the big deal either. We went for a place that its only our wedding b/c of the fact that I have been to weddings w/ multiples and the service was sacraficed. but if you know that chances are you are going to see the other brides it shouldn't be a big deal

We booked our venue b/c there is only one wedding at a time there. Not because I want to be the only bride, but because I want the staff (including the kitchen) to have their time & focus solely on our wedding.

I think some brides might feel a little jinxed about seing another bride and they might want to feel like the only special person that day. i dont get it either - i would be happy to see another bride and wish her all the best and happiness.

i love the fact that i'll be the only bride at my RH. I feel like for that day, everything revolves around me and my FH, and our guests :)

I dont have a problem with two brides at a time or seeing another bride but it does raise few concerns, I guess I would be mostly worried about guests of the other wedding crashing and if something happens at the other event, it may take the staff's focus away from the guest at ur own party.

I would hope if there are 2 parties going on they would have enough staffing..................My RH sorts has 2 parties at once lol i have the afternoon wedding cocktail hour at 130-230 and recpetion 230-630 the other wedding starts at 6 so its not too bad.. a half hour before mine ends...hers will be starting ( HI JOJO lol hope you planning is going well!! lol shes my date and hall twin!!)

My hall only has one wedding at a time, but if it didnt I'd only want another bride if she was an LIW girl. That'd be hysterical, congaline-ing into eachothers wedding.

Wouldn't bother me. Wasn't even a factor when looking for RH. Just so happened we ended up with a 1 wedding at a time venue, but it had nothing to do with our decision.

Yeah, I agree. I would probably invite her in! haha...
I think some people are really just, into the fact that its their special day and that they want to feel like they are the only one in the world getting married! who wouldnt!

I agree, i dont see what the big deal is either
and since allhave date twins and hall twins, i think it would be so cool to see a fellow LIWer on my wedding day...hoping to bump into some taking pics at OWG!

me either i mean we booked in the afternoon so we would be the only ones because we were worried about hearing other ppls music and stuff but If they would have been across or down a different wing then us instead of ontop of us lol it would have been fine!

We booked a room at Oheka for our wedding night and they were like well are you comming in your dress? I said of course we are comming right from the reception! and they told me if they booked a wedding that day that we would have to be brought up through the serivce elevator and we would be forbidden to leave our room the whole day!! I felt like we would be punished! They ended up booking a bride so we canceled our reservation. :(

i think that is so stupid that we couldnt stay where we wanted to because there would be a wedding there....that place is so freaking big what are the chances of her walking out as we were walking to our room?!?! not like im gonna sleep in my dress and wear it to breakfast the next moring!.....well you never know :)

In reading reviews and talking to people I've heard that the issue is sometimes more with guests crossing each other...?????? not sure the extent to which it's a problem...I'm doing just one wedding at a time but I don't think it's necessary just convenient
