I believe that women have the power, strength and intelligence to do whatever they want in this world but at the same time it is unrealistic for women to 'have it all'
I am very proud of my accomplishments both professionally and personally. I always said my '20's' would be about me....my career, my husband, my friends, traveling, etc. My '30's' would be about family. When I start to have a family in a couple of years, I am willing to give it all up to raise my kids and I won't have any regrets...so I guess I'm not a feminist.

me too! I like when a man holds the door open for me.
Sometimes I wish we were back many years and I did not need/have to work.

Feminism does not mean that you can't stay home with your kids! Feminists WANT more choices for women so that if they want to stay home with their kids, they can. Feminism is about women having choices, not being pushed into a corner.
And I love it when a man holds a door open for me. But I do not like it when one pinches my rear-end.

I agree. I don't want a stranger raising my kids... so if I have to give up my career to be a SAHM (at least p/t) then I will. But I still consider myself a feminist.

Hrmm I agree. I think I guy should open doors and buy flowers, not cuss in front of me and say Ma'm. But I loathe the glass ceiling. It is very much a part of why I am in NAIW an other female associations. If I do the same job as well or better than a 'he' I should get the same respect AND PAY.
I personally won't stay at home with my kids. Don't want to. I probably won't stay home more than the first 3 months. I was raised with absentee parents. One was a loser (my mother) the other wasn't around (dad was navy). I wasn't a latch-key child and I hope my children never have be either. But I don't think I need to be home the whole time. I'm already in talks with my father to have him take my unborn children for summer times.
Feminism to me is the choice to do what I want because I want to and not be judged by my tits.
Equality is the idea that each person is judged for what they are and what they can do regardless of their parts and pieces, race, accent or education.
It's a rough road. A lot of steps have been taken in the right direction, but we're a long way off.
So I guess Im a feminist?

Well, yes, actually. Many women's groups were essential to getting the Family and Medical Leave Act pushed through - and it had big opposition. How many of us can't stay home with our children b/c we do not have national child care? Or even a decent child care tax credit? It's almost impossible for women to take time off work to raise a child, and not too many people are up in arms about it.
