I bought my garter tonight and it came with 2. The guy said one was a throw away, so I am assuming its the one FH takes off, but are you supposed to wear both? What is the point of having two? Is there any point or am I just dumb today.

I have seen people wear two. One for the groom to take off when doing the garter toss and the second one for later

One for the right leg and one for the left.
The first one comes off with the garter remove & toss
The other when your hubby takes off your dress after the wedding

I'm doing both on the left leg...I know you can wear one on each, but I'll do the throwaway garter lower and the other one higher on the leg. Does that make sense?
