How are you communicating w/ your bridal party? I was thinking e-mail would be the easiest way, but I am wondering if it's too informal. I know this is a stupid question, I'm sorry.

I guess it depends on how far away you live from them. My girls and I are all on Long Island/Queens so telephone works best for us, plus I try to get together with them quite often!

I might do email a few times for minor things, but based on what I've read here on LIW, it seems BMs appreciate phone calls more than email. Email is more impersonal than a phone call, you know? I am going to do my best to use the phone to communicate with my BMs whenever time allows.
Maybe you can call your BMs the first time around and ask them if they wouldn't mind receiving emails from you about wedding stuff. If they give you the go-ahead, then you can email without worrying!

i say it depends on where they all live. i email and call alot because i live in florida and all of my girls are in new york.

I email mostly but I call two of the BMs who don't check their email often.

I mostly speak to them in person. I use email for my OOT BMs.

Mostly in person or calls. One emails me during the day at work and we go back and forth, lol.
