I HAVE AN 05 PROPOSAL!!!

I have to add something, I was off of the site for most of the day and come back and see all this..

My opinion ( and mine only) is you all need to lighten up...I am a DRAMA QUEEN...self admitted and have gotten caught up in many a things and many drama in the last year on these boards and guess what???..... I let it go a few days later when something else catches my attention or I have something new to obsess on or over....thats what these boards are for..

If you feel like you need to leave the boards or are getting 'picked on' etc ( and Im not talking about ANYONE in particluar) then you need to get out of the house more often because your taking life way too seriously and a message baoard should not have that power over your life.

Now Im going through an emotional self admitted rough time right now and in the midst of all that, NEVER have I let something someone said or didnt say affect me in such a way then to actually DWELL over it or leave or stop chatting/sharing..

I cannot for the life of me understand how some people take this so too heart...be strong...life's a lot worse then having some people on a board yell at you...

C'mon people..get over it...

i agree to a point - i like the QOTD as i KNOW most of the 05 brides & not many on the NWR boards. When i replied to the NWR board - i felt like an outsider.

We all talk wedding - which is why we are here
bu i think the quotes are diversions that can be refreshing

I think so too. I feel much more comfortable on O5, than NWR, although I do post there too... I know if I want good responses that I can get them on 05, weather it's Wedding or NWR... So i think a helathy balance would be ok.

It would get slower if there were no more NWR on here... but also, people have to learn not to TAKE EVERYITNG SO PERSONALLY, and realize it's just a post on a computer, not someone attaking you. spread the love

I like the QOTD too... but I think having one NWR topic for the day is a good idea! I also venture over to the NWR board but often feel like a bit of an outsider cuz I don't LIVE on those boards like other people do... Here, I feel comfortable cuz you guys are all awesome!

As for the cliques- I totally agree!!

flaca, i think you wrote your opinion beautifully, and voiced what obviously a lot of girls have been thinking!!!

I am on LIweddings ALL the time. I used to be on the BHB board more because it got more action, then the '05 board really started to pick up!!! (thank you for working so hard to even get it here!!)

So now my first place to check out the current threads is the '05 board. i think u guys are so awesome.
I do agree there are some 'cliques', but it doesnt bother me too much. we have all made friends on here, and it doesnt mean the unmentioned ones arent wanted!
I somehow miss all the 'drama', my curiosity wishes i didnt, but i know i am better off
. what is annoying is all the threads about the 'drama' that happened, it just keeps it going, and confuses me lol

I enjoy the QOTD and the NWR stuff. as our weddings get closer, the planning will decrease and the stress will increase. i think topics like this will be a sigh of relief when that time comes. It shouldnt take over the boards by any means, but if a topic title doesnt interest me, or when i open it and it doesnt pertain to me or i cant add to it, i just read a little and move on to the next one!

I think we have all come to think of each other as friends, sure we came together because of having a wedding in '05, but its nice to get to know each other outside of that.

so anyway, that is just IMO. I hope no one stops posting here because of these things! anyway, u all rock!!!!!!

I swear you and I think alike!!!!!! I was thinking the SAME THING!!!! I just didnt know how to say it without coming off rude, but you put it so eloquently. With a few check-ins here and there, I can honestly say I have been avoiding LIW because of this. Lets talk about weddings and leave the NWR to that board.

I couldn't agree more!! I like the NWR but I also like it being on the NWR board. I feel like sometimes I have to sort through all this other NWR stuff before I find a post that's wedding related...and that makes me want to avoid '05 all together. I mean yeah you can say NWR gets more people on the 05 board but I think it also keeps people away.

That's an awesome idea - then we can all check it when we want. I mean given how many brides like the NWR stuff on 05 it'll probly always be up top anyways for all to see!
