i have an engagement party to go to today! UPDATE

woohoo its actually the first engagement party ive ever been to so im excited!! then i have another next month and mine in august! a lot of our close friends are getting married next summer so everyones e-parties is this summer..its def true that when u get to a certain age all of a sudden everyone gets married hahaha

we had a great time!!! it was at o'connor hall in oceanside..they had nice candle centerpieces for the tables, the food was good, and dj had us up and dancing..heres a pic of fh and i

i know! and its so funny bc that couple and fh and i are so much alike....she actually went to hs with me (in suffolk- sachem) and him and FH went to hs together (in nassau- valley stream) and both of us met our fh's in college...and out of all bm dresses that can be found- we both choose the same one! (completely differnt colors but same dress) when my bm found that dress and fell in love..i asked her what style number her dress was bc i knew it was the same designer and it turned out to be the same and i asked if she was ok with that since her wedding is first and she was more flattered then anything and said we both have good taste LOL

I hear ya. we had 5 weddings in like 6 months last summer. We only have one (so far) this summer!
