I have been crying since Friday night. repost UPDATE

I'm sure many of you have heard of the house that exploded in Queens. It turned out to be 3 of my students at my after school's home. They are on the front page of the NY DAILY NEWS today. They lost everything and their mom. I'm so upset they boys are in 1,4,& 5th grade Kevin, Ryan and Chris. The family came to the church for our wedding I took a few pictures with them I will post later. They were so happy to be there for us on our wedding day. On Thursday I gave the youngest boy Chris our thank you card for being at the church. And the last thing I said to him when he was walking out was make sure you give that to your mom.
I just can't stop crying.

They are such a wonderful family.

OMG. that is sooo terrible!!!

My friend lives 3 houses away and told me the story.

I heard about the explosion on the news yesterday, It's so sad that their mom lost her life and that they are left without a mom at such a young age. My thoughts and prayers are with them and their family at this time. I'm so sorry Tori, It's a tragic loss, I guess all you can do is be there to support them as much as you can

I heard about this on the radio and thought it was heartbreaking. I am so so so sorry for this family, and for you for feeling so much emotion right now. I just hope there is some way to make those boys feel just a little more comfortable.

Oh Tori what a horrible story. I still don't understand what caused their house to actually explode. So tragic, those poor little boys. My thoughts and prayers are with them
