i have way short hair, i couldnt find anythign cool so im getting extensions! haha...id say do that...or get the 'short hair styles' magazine! they have some cute stuff!

I have the dilemna of short hair. It used to be Halle Berry short but started growing it out a bit for the wedding. Shortest layers are about jaw length-back is almost to chinline. I have to keep cutting it because the layers were so short so its taking a long time but I'm trying because though I LOVE my hair (am cutting it again after the wedding) Its thick and wavy so in the summertime heat it will poof up without a bit of weight to hold it down.

Extensions are not in the budget, so picked up a few short hair magazines which were really helpful. I also picked up a a cop of SHORT HAIR: SUMMER SPECIALS. Ashley Scott is on the cover. And I bought Bridal Star HAirstyles: special issue. Has long and short hair. I showed all the pics I liked to my stylist and she came up with a few different ideas, incorporating the elements I liked. we are going to try them all and see how they go. Ask your stylists-they may be able to work with the idea of what you want, if not the same actual style.

She's going to try pin curling my hair first and then tousling it. She said it will give me the look of short curls almost in an updo when she arranges it, because my hairs so short to begin with. Then we're going to try a variation of Christina Aguilera's hair sorta like this but slightly less wild and have shorter pieces of course.

Inkedup-If you like your short hair, really, you should stick to it and work with it I think because you want to be yourself on your wedding day. Its what you consider 'appropriate' not what others do. Believe me I got sooo mcuh grief from family members when I cut my hair because to a bunch of Puerto Ricans, short hair means UGLY and boy instead of girl. -rolls eyes-

You could do a great headband-something sparkly to go with a veil if you are wearing one. Will still look 'wedding' and delicate no matter what your hair length. Or flowers like this pic-so cute for pixie hairstyles.

We ladies with short hair can also play with hair accessories-combs and headbands are great. So are the traditional tiaras. Thats how I am playing up my style. This is a great website for hair accessories.

I have short hair too and I have no intention of growing it out for the wedding. I can't even tell you how many people has asked and just assumed that I would grow it out.

This one looks like my hair now-but mine is shorter.






This is a great pic because the style is wacky but the length is just a tad shorter than mine. Mines a little longer in the back but pretty much if I pull it back looks like this. Makes me wonder if its long enough to curl. What do y'all think?
