I have given up.

Our rehearsal dinner is not booked yet.

I'm aggravated - but I can't keep yelling at FH because what's done is done.

I'm just pissed off because we've been planning this fukking wedding for two years and now we have to scramble to find a place that is tasty and isn't booked.

I just feel let down. FH totally dropped the ball on this and I know I'm not helping but I'm fukking angry because everything he asks me to do - I do - no questions asked. And he's always complaining that I'm so disorganized (my mom's house is under construction so I lose a lot of papers and I forget a lot of things) and yet everything that's in my lap manages to get done and get done on time.

I'm just so aggravated because he's always complaining about shitt I don't do and it's OK for him to drop the ball on this.

Thanks for listening and can anyone recommend a place that's under $37/pp including beer, wine and soda in Bay Shore, Babylon, or West Islip?

We've looked at a bunch but just list as many as you KNOW (as in - it's decent food).

By the way - I'm SOOOOOOOOOOO angry and aggravated!!!!

Maybe you guys can do a backyard BBQ?? That'll save you guys $$ and the hassle of looking for a place.

FH is the same way. He gets mad when I dont do stuff but I always manage to get it done on time...just not his way

But I am booked at La Bella Palermo in Babylon Village. I think we are paying $38. And that includes beer/wine/soda. But I know they have menus that are cheaper as well

We were just at Bella Napoli on Friday night and their prices for dinner are incredible!!! Why not give them a call and see what they can do for you! They have a private room & I can tell you for dinner for 5 people, including beer & appetizers, our total was 55 per couple!!!!!!! i thought that was incredible!!!

SOOO sorry to read this, I really am. I know what it is like to ask FH to do something for 8 years and it never gets done. I do.

The only place I know in that area is the Post Office, in Babylon. Have no idea what the prices are and if they even do RDs but I thought they did.

OH, I lied. I know of a great bar in Bay Shore - It's called Finley's I think but has a few initials in the front? I don't know if they do RDs either but I loved the atmosphere.

Not sure if you looked here, but Shandon Court in East Islip (thats pretty close!) is really good - I had my eparty there. It ranges from $26 - $28 pp, plus wine/beer/soda would be $9.50 extra, so its still in the ballpark.

awww no dont be upset, dont worry you can still find a place. Its frustrating but this will get done and then this will all be in the past.

It is frustrating, but its almost like you have to be frustrated, angry, stressed, exhausted, before the wedding hahaha. Things just dont come easy.

Did you try the Irish Coffee Pub - they have a lot of rooms, maybe one is open?

Good luck - you'll find something! As an alternative, my friend who is also getting married rented a house out east and is having a bbq there for her rehearsal dinner. I thought it was a great unique idea, and can also be done w/in a short time period.
