Our rehearsal dinner is not booked yet.

I'm aggravated - but I can't keep yelling at FH because what's done is done.

I'm just pissed off because we've been planning this fukking wedding for two years and now we have to scramble to find a place that is tasty and isn't booked.

I just feel let down. FH totally dropped the ball on this and I know I'm not helping but I'm fukking angry because everything he asks me to do - I do - no questions asked. And he's always complaining that I'm so disorganized (my mom's house is under construction so I lose a lot of papers and I forget a lot of things) and yet everything that's in my lap manages to get done and get done on time.

I'm just so aggravated because he's always complaining about shitt I don't do and it's OK for him to drop the ball on this.

Thanks for listening and can anyone recommend a place that's under $37/pp including beer, wine and soda in Bay Shore, Babylon, or West Islip?

We've looked at a bunch but just list as many as you KNOW (as in - it's decent food).

By the way - I'm SOOOOOOOOOOO angry and aggravated!!!!

awww no dont be upset, dont worry you can still find a place. Its frustrating but this will get done and then this will all be in the past.

It is frustrating, but its almost like you have to be frustrated, angry, stressed, exhausted, before the wedding hahaha. Things just dont come easy.

I went to a RD around the massapequa area, not sure if youre interested but let me know...actually ill get the name of the place and post it when i find out

I was going to say that my sister had hers a few years ago at Paddy's Loft in Massapequa. Great food, nice back room - just very nice. Not sure if that works for you though re: location.

I know the long engagement girls are prob with me on this. I mean two years to plan a wedding - and we screw it up?

It's funny because I feel like we've looked at every restaurant under the sun in the 3 towns we're looking in and all the suggestions you ladies have made are new to me!!!

Our RD is actually Wed night - our wedding is Friday....

I will check out all these restaurants ladies!!! Thank you!!!

We were just at Bella Napoli on Friday night and their prices for dinner are incredible!!! Why not give them a call and see what they can do for you! They have a private room & I can tell you for dinner for 5 people, including beer & appetizers, our total was 55 per couple!!!!!!! i thought that was incredible!!!

I was just going to mention this... this is where our RD is going to be! It's in Farmingdale though so as long as you're ok with that! But we had my shower there too, and everything was great! We paid about $20pp.

it is funny about how long some of us have been engaged or were and then at the end you still have a ton of things left to do. I kept saying to myself that i have issues bc i was engaged for almost 2 years so you would think thats more than enough time to get things done and not run around like a maniac towards the end. But these things happen, we go through phases where we dont want to do anything for the wedding, i know there were a few months where i just didnt have the motivation.

If its wednesday then definitely stay optimistic. There wont be many parties booked at restaurants so you have great chances of still booking something, shouldn't really be a problem.

I am sorry :( I know how you feel...today we were scrambling to get the bus company paid and FH is in AZ and I am in NY and he is trying to fax me credit card forms and it was working and we needed to pay them asap!!! Ok there is more to the story but I wont bore you with details! Its a stressful time...but you will def get thru it.

Why dont you try snapper inn in Oakdale. That is where we are having ours. Or 21 Main might give you a discount if you tell them you are getting married at lands end?

the irish coffee pub is wonderful - that's actually where we're having our wedding.

the gatsby in bay shore also has a lot of rooms upstairs that could be open and is beautiful inside. i've never eaten there though.

and we're having our rehearsal dinner at milk and sugar on main street in bay shore. i think it came out to about 35pp.
