... Noone is getting any gifts this year including FH. He really pissed me off a few minutes ago. Telling me that I spend to much money on frivoulous things. Blah blah blah. So i said ok, noone including you is getting a gift for XMAS. How's that for your budgeting.

Only my nephew and my gaddaughter will be getting gifts this year....

I tried to do that w/ FH - no presents, but he won't listen to me. Plus he bothers me about spending money on stuff. I just don't get him sometimes

I know what you mean. I'm giving out gift baskets from sams club. You can buy like three of them at a time. His parents, his good grandparents, his two uncles familes all just getting gift baskets. My moms family too. I'm only buying actual gifts for his sister, my two baby brothers, and four of our friends, all in the BP.

I'm only buying presents for my niece and 4 nephews. FH and I already agreed no presents this year. But he keeps dropping hints that he wants a digitial camera! I said no way jose!!!

I'm getting something nice for FH but he doesn't ask for anything- he does say that I spend too much but I can't really argue with him on that one! As for friends- we are gathering as many people as we can and sharing a nice dinner out. I'll do the same with my 2 BM friends out in NJ/PA-they are sisters-we'll go out with them and their guys and just celebrate being friends!
I will get my family gifts but small ones this year. If I had my way I'd knit or crochet them gifts. I did that last year and everyone loved it-I still have request for me to knit people things! The holidays get too crazy with gifts....honestly, I think our friends all agree that we won't get gifts for each other for x-mas anymore-just birthdays!

I told my mom & brother that if they want to buy me something, to just purchase something for me off my registry. As for my FH, Im just getting him a new cell phone. His phone looks like a truck ran over it.
