I have just watched my LAST episode of American Idol

Tonight's show was the most ridiculous, obscene, fixed, repulsive, sad, frustrating, and unfair thing I've ever watched!

HOrrible.. unless we just call more and more next week and then they cut her off from singing her final song... something must be going on!

I somehow can't believe those were the real bottom 3 - I think they are just trying to get people to vote. I want to meet whoever is voting for John Stevens! I have a couple of questions!

Is there a limit onhow many times Jon stevens mom can vote for him?? Honestly, maybe there should be a rule.

Even John Stevens himself looked shocked that he wasn't in the bottom 3! Jennifer has gotten sooo good, she totally was better than the 'safe' ones. And clearly LaToya and Fantasia were the best ones so maybe people just aren't voting for them because they feel everyone else will.

i cant beleive it either!!! we predict every week in my classroom and my students vote someone off. I tie it in to predicting skills based on how they sang. my students voted off diana d and john stevens. its getting on my nerves now!

My opinion (not that anyone cares)

I think it's the attitude that Jennifer shows that made people not vote her in.

Going by LAST NIGHTS performance..George should have been gone.

I do like John I think he is talented! The fact that Paula picks on him constantly on EVERY interview. It ticks me off! She says it in such a nasty way. She can be really mean. I think that makes me call in an extra few times to keep him there!!

John is not a good singer. He is off key and behind the beat. He is not an American Idol. Yes, he can sing the standards, but come on, picked over Jennifer Hudson? George, even at his worst, is better than John.

WOW...I can't believe that. I missed tonight's episode, but I had no idea Fantasia, Latoya and Jennifer would be in the bottom 3. I think that happened because people assume they're safe, so they figure they'll vote for someone else who probably needs it. Many people probably knew John Stevens would definitely be gone, so whoever liked him probably made sure to vote for him.

I kind of wouldn't have minded if Fantasia were gone. I just think she appears to have a big ego, and she's not even a star yet! I think Jennifer has that kind of ego too. I really only like Latoya out of them. She seems like the least who acts like a diva.

i was shocked. kind of unfair how they made george huff pick the top 3. who would've thought it was the other three?! jennifer has an AMAZING voice, but I, too, think her attitude got her ditched. what a shame. fantiasia was so gracious and sweet to her. jon stevens looks more and more shocked every week that he remains! i did like what simon said though about not discrediting diane and jasmine. everyone made them feel like crap! LOL the voting is definetely fixed for ratings by producers to an extent.

I feel bad for John Stevens though. I think everyone hates him now, but he has no control of people voting for him.

I am also outraged by who was in the bottom 3. But I don't think the show is fixed. To those of you that think it is fixed I'm wondering: 1) How is it fixed and 2) what purpose does it serve to have it be fixed. I just don't see the reasoning behind it.

I think this is what happens when you have people voting. You take the chance that they are not going to pick the best singer. Rather they will pick the cutest or they'll pick the person they think needs the most help.

I've said it a million times before, they should have people vote for who they want off. You would have a lot less of people sneaking through.

I totally agree that we should vote for who we want OFF. I guess I'm not sure it's fixed - I suppose it's true that a lot of people don't vote for the best ones because they assume they are 'safe.'

But if it is fixed, it's the producers just picking who will be named the bottom 3, rather than giving us the actual votes - remember, we have no way of verifying who got how many votes. They should have an ongoing count online or something.

The reason the producers would do this is to incite interest and controversy in the show - to get more people to watch and higher ratings - AND to get more people to vote for their favorites so they can say, 'oh, this week we set another record of 200 billion people voting' etc.
