I have just watched my LAST episode of American Idol

I don't think it's fair to say that John Stevens didn't know who Laurel and Hardy is. When Simon first said it, he said 'Stan Laurel', and John looked confused. I didn't know who he was talking about either until he said it was the guy from Laurel & Hardy. Then I knew, which is when he might have figured it out as well. I never actually knew the guy's first name.

I think when it comes down to it, people are just going to vote for who they want. Maybe they get sick of people sometimes. Jennifer Hudson was in the bottom 2 on the first episode, and she had sang very well. So who really knows?

I am also outraged by who was in the bottom 3. But I don't think the show is fixed. To those of you that think it is fixed I'm wondering: 1) How is it fixed and 2) what purpose does it serve to have it be fixed. I just don't see the reasoning behind it.

I think this is what happens when you have people voting. You take the chance that they are not going to pick the best singer. Rather they will pick the cutest or they'll pick the person they think needs the most help.

I've said it a million times before, they should have people vote for who they want off. You would have a lot less of people sneaking through.

I agree. I am living in Ireland and AI is on, on Thursday nights here. All in one shot, first they show the singing then the vote off. I was completely shocked by the bottom three. George, was terrible and so was John. Out of those left, I like LaToya and then Fantasia.
