she said to expect a 2 hr appt.
they will do an ultrasound, do I need to have a full bladder??

They will do an internal exam, pap smear, urine screening take about 5-8 vials of blood, the might talk to you about dos and don'ts types of screening that you might like (depending on how many weeks you will be) do an internal sonogram. You do not need a full bladder for that. Just don't be shocked at the size of the wand. It can be a little intimitating.
But wait to you see the baby on the screen Shana!

the 'exam' part is quick. (the sono, blood, urine sample) its the medical history and what to expect, what to eat what not to eat like the lady said before the do's and dont's.
Congrats to you its the BEST DR. VISIT ever...I have never wanted time to fly so I can go for my mothnly visit
If you have questions start writing them down and take them with you b/c you will forget them. I carry a book around and just write things as I think of them and bring it to my monthly visit.
