I have never been so stressed in my life....

we have had all the trials of marriage before we're even freaking married.

We were supposed to close on our house july 10th. the FUGGING BANK is FUGGING AROUND and we have no idea what theyre doing but every week it's 'you should hear next week.' our landlords rented out our apt for sept 1. So 2 weeks from today we are going to be FUGGING HOMELESS.

we don't know what to do, we are at our wits end.

This is on top of me getting into an accident last week, totaling my car, fighting with the insurance companies to get the other guy to pay for all my damages, oh, and getting married in less than two months.

Trust me.. I COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND!!! I don't have the same specific problems... but ones on the same wave length. Sometimes I just get sooooooooooooooooooo much anxiety lately I don't know what to do with myself.

I'm sorry you have all that going on. you will get through it. Good Luck with everything. And in the end it will be all worth it... even the hell you are giong through with the house nonesense. Once you are home owners and have your keys... it will all turn around for you.

are you trying to get an FHA mortgage by any chance?

I've heard from 3 other people who are having the same issue and they'er all waiting on FHA loans.

The only advice I can give is this.

Take ONE problem at a time and deal with one thing at a time. Then you wont get so crazy. Or at least thats the idea :)

And always concentrate on the solution, not the problem.

OMG!!! Well, we were supposed to, but we didn't qualify for FHA bc the house wasn't owned by the current owner more than 90 days- the dad died and the daughter was trying to get rid of it asap) so we used Rural Development which I guess is pretty much the same thing! But yea that's what we are waiting on!!!!! We don't know what to do!

The other stuff is of course cause for stress but the house thing, we really don't know what to do. We have a ton of crap and nowhere to put it and nowhere to live in 2 weeks.

If you're using a mortgage broker, call and harrass him or her.

I would also call your attorney. There's usually a clause in the contract that states that you have a certain number of days to get a commitment after signing. Your attorney could get on the phone and express the urgency of closing the deal.

My boss (who's handling our closing) just had to do this for his nephew who was waiting on an FHA loan. It took a couple of days but he got the loan walked through and a closing date is finally set.
