Where do i begin? On sunday i went to huntington town house to do the menu. When we first sign the contract last year, i decided to only offer 2 entrees because we are having a full coctail hour. On sunday i was told that i am only getting 1 entree, and another one on request, which means that i won't be able to put 2 choices on my menus. I hope i'm making sense, because i am so upset. Anyway Steven was the person i spoke with about this initially, and he denied everything. He called me a liar in front of my FI, and even used a curse word (bull****) which to me is very unproffesional. Its gets better. He had the nerve to tell me if i didn't want to pay the extra $ 5 a plate then i should have my wedding on a thursday. The nerve of that man to tell me to change my wedding date.

Huntington Townhouse is horrible, my sister's friend had her reception there, and the food and the staff were horrible. I would just go somewhere else. I know it's close to the date but they aren't worth the headache.

I would honestly have my wedding somewhere else. I would take the loss of the deposit and try to move the wedding somewhere else.

She's getting married in 2 mths!

Even though I had a problem with Steven My wedding day was GREAT!!! He is a bad weed amongst the garden.
THe food was good the Matre 'd and my bridal attendant were awesome and Ellen Rose was great to deal with.

Your day will be unbelievable!!!!

If you still have problems talk to John. He fixed a problem I had because Steven didn't know how to call us back. I also learned the importance of getting everything in writing...

Oh my god you are scaring me! I am mostly dealing with John but once had to talk to Steven. He seemed nice enough.

I also have a choice of 4 meals but i am not sure if its on the contract (i left it at work).

I hope he gets something coming to him for treating you that way! Did your contract only say 1 dinner? I just rechecked mines and it does state the number of entrees. I've never heard of a place only serving one choice. Not even a buffet does that, they offer more than one. That sounds funny to me.

I have seen some places that only serve one entree, they usually tell you upfront though and tell you to pic an item you would think everyone would like, but regardless he told you two, he should give you two. Im so mad reading this post, im so tired of all these people trying to get over on brides. I would also be in jail right now because i would have had to beat the **** out of him!!!!!!!!! Sorry you have to deal with such nonsense.

Can you request to work with someone else for the remainder of the time? We got married there a year ago. Don't let this ruin your wedding day. Despite what others may say, our wedding went without a glitch. We had an amazing bridal attendant (her name was Trish). Everyone seemed to have a great time. I hope everything works out for you.

That guy sounds like a real piece of work!!! Maybe from now on you can deal with someone else.

I also saw that someone suggested talking to Elliot (his dad) I would definitely do that!

You would think that you are paying for the wedding he would at least speak to you professionally!! I would definitely go to his boss and talk to who ever you need to...ASAP

Valerie, I am so sorry this happened to you. Your wedding will be beautiful in spite of his actions/comments. I hope it all works out for you and I will be waiting for a review!

Also I just want to add telling someone that the vendor they booked is horrible, does not them feel any better about the situation. I went to a wedding at a very popular catering hall last year and I thought that it was not that great. Most vendors are good but will still have a rant here and there.
