i have never been so violently ill

i have been up since 12:30 throwing up. I threw up 6x already and each time is more severe. Is this what food poisoning is??????

I'm sorry Michele, I know a stomach virus is going around. I have a number of kids out this week & its going around our school. All my cousins' kid had it last week.

Feel better....drink Gatorade....

HI, I had it like three weeks ago--so did My FSIL, FMIL, mother,FI and our nephew--it is so bad--but it usually only lasts for 24 hours--Hope you feel better!!!! :)

Please consider the emergency room if it gets worse. Drink plenty of water/fluid so you don't get dehydrated.

So sorry you're feeling so ill. Are you having any stomache pain? Usually with food poisoning you get very bad stomache pain. If it's just nausea and not being able to keep anything down, it's probably a stomache virus. Hope you feel better.
