I'm freaking out rt now, I've choosen the bm dresses before Nov, and all my BM's put a deposit on them except one. She got sized for it and said she will ...but still no deposit and I told her I NEED to order by NOV. So anyway I check w/the store and she stil hasn't put down the deposit. It's not a monetary reason either ...I know for sure. How do i handle, not even that we can't even order the dress I picked rt now (Vera Wang) b/c we won't have enough time for it to come in so now I have to find something else...??!

Can you still order them if you put a rush on the order?
Can you ask your bm just to email you her measurments since she won't get her lazy butt down to the dress shop? That is really frustrating!!!
woops...just saw that they have her size already...
I would just put up the money myself and then tell her to reimburse you if you can. And explain to her that she is jeopardizing whether or not any of your girls can get this dress that you've already agreed upon.

sorry you have to deal with that...very inconsiderate on her part...can you still order that dress you originally chose if you put a rush delivery on it? Granted it will be a bit more, but if thats the one you really are set on, it migh be worth it

Honestly maybe I'm being stubborn but I don't think its fair to the rest of the girls if I give the deposit for her. Not even that a couple of my BM's paid in FULL, so I don't feel rt giving the dep. $ for her ( I don't even have it anyway) I have to order invite myself. Anyway I'm going to have to do something else and everyone was in love w/the dress. So I feel bad now breaking the news that just b/c 'xoxo' didn't put her deposit in time and she had ove two months to do it....we can't have this dress. Now i have to choose another dress.....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

so sorry this happened to you. at this stage in life someone shouldn't need a 'babysitter' to ensure they don't ruin a situation for the group. it would make me second guess if i even wanted this person in my bridal party. i hope all works out for you, please keep us posted. good luck

pay for the dress so it can be ordered then tell her to pay you.. i know its the not best solution but that is what i would do

I paid for all my BM dresses and then just had the girls give me checks after... Ordered the dresses in Nov & they are coming in Feb... I still don't have 2 of the 6 girls checks. Not a big deal to me- I'd rather have just paid for them to get them ordered and get the $$ before Feb. I'd pay for it and don't tell the other girls. Just communicate to her that you had to do it, and the $$ came out of your pocket so if she can pay ASAP to you, that would be appreciated. Good Luck!

There's no way to rush the dress for those girls??
Honestly, if it were me, I'd tell the delinquent girl that she has gummed up the works and ask her flat out, 'do you want to be a bm or not?' Don't let ANYONE make you change your plans. I'd be SOOO ticked if I were you.
