I just need a pick up and drop off at the reception hall since the ceremony is there and I need a limo for FH and his kids. I cannot see spending that much money to 1 hour in a car each (if that). No one will see us pull up since we will be there early because we are taking pics. Would it be tacky if I had someone drive me in my car?

We're not using limos either. I'm actually driving myself to CB because we're doing everything there. I told my FH I want a picture of me getting out of my car in my veil and jeans...I think it will be funny!!

Not tacky at all. Save the money if you can. Same situation here. we just need fh& I to get there and back but we are not driving because we will be drinking.

Re: I have no interest in limos
So I asked FH if he really needed a limo to bring him and his kids and he said no. His kids are older and will be bringing dates so someone can drive.
I feel bad though. When it's something I am passionate about, I don't care about money at all but when it's something I could give two sh!ts about, $5 is too much. uuggh I don't know what to do. I am spending a fortune on this wedding so what's a little bit more but then I swing the other way and say do I really need it. I swear I can't make decisions when it comes to this wedding.

Find a reliable car service and ask for a towncar to pick up and drop off...it'll save you a lot of money if you don't go through a limo company (limo companies also have town cars but much more expensive)

if youre doing just pick and up and drop off then dont do limos if you really dont want to. I did limos bc we had a drive to the church, then pictures then the Rh and it wasnt THAT close. But sounds like you really dont need it. Plus like you said, nobody is really going to see you.
