Nothing like waiting till the last minute. LOL
I would buy him a savings bond. He probably doesn't need more toys but the savings bond will mature faster than he will.

LOL - I know it is a boring azz gift. I don't care. LOL. I think it is better than another tonka truck that he is going to use to beat up his older sister. Seriously though, i did this for one of my friends and they loved it.

It is kind of funny because I work in Corporate Trust and everyone here would tell you savings bonds are a waste, low yield, blah blah. I think they are great 1st b-day gifts. Not quite as appropriate for a 7 YO.

OK, so- socks, cigarettes, and hand jobs? Ummm. DH and I just decided to start buying savings bonds for our super spoiled niece. But the first time I tried, I needed all sorts of info like a social, and an address. So we give $$. But babies are fun to shop for, so I will probably buy him something cute.
