I have some great (personal, NWR) news!

Back story: I had dreamed about going back to school when FH and I moved to NC (in 2 weeks!) I took a tour at University of North Carolina at Wilmington last year and fell in love. Everything in me told me that THIS was where I should finish my Batchelors and get my Masters (I had to drop out of college at 19 and have always regretted it!)

Anyway, in April, the night before my shower, I got a rejection letter from the school. I honestly, cried harder than i have ever cried. I had to put Hemerroid Cream on my eyes before the shower the next morning, they were swollen closed!

Anyway, i spend months trying to be ok with it (I couldn't believe I was rejected from a state school with the grades that I had from Boston University) and I decided to go back to Community College part time. The whole thing bummed me out, but I was going to wait a year and then apply again.

Fast Forward to last week when I get a call from the assistant Dean of Admissions at UNCW, and they re-evaluated my application and ACCEPTED ME!!!

I am so happy - besides meeting my husband, this is the best thing that has happened to me in the last 5 (very difficult) years of my life.

So, in a few weeks I will be a full time student again. I CAN'T WAIT!!! (No more being a receptionist for the rest of my life - I'm going to have a real CAREER one day!!!)
