I have some questions regarding.......SLIPPER / BASKETS

Slipper and slipper baskets:

I just called mysisterusa.com them and they gave me a quote for $1.00 each if I purchase $60. Thats a pretty good deal.

Do guests really use them?

Where do I place the basket if I am sharing the bathroom with another bride?

If a 180 people are coming to my wedding will 60 be enough?

What sizes should I get?

I was thinking about getting all silver....is this what most brides get?

OMG...I was at a wedding last weekend and I ran to get the slippers!! It was great!!!

I bought 1 pair for each female guest and they were all gone by the end of the night. It was such a huge hit. We had them set up on a table right outside of the entrance to the ballroom. I bought a bunch from size 5 - 9, but most were size 7 and 8. I had 4 different colors b/c I wanted a variety, but it doesn't matter what you get.

I ordered 4 colors, mixed sizes from 6-11 and I ordered around 75 pair for 120 guests total. I had 3 left at the end of the night. That went really fast.

I had put out by the DJ both about 2 hours into the reception.

Yes they do use them. I am a person who cannot wear hardbottomed shoes for any length of time without severe foot pain. I appreciate every pair of slippers I have received. Every guest who took a pair at MY wedding, LOVED the idea! I had to make sure that I got oen for myself in MY size!

You may also want to do what I did. Have your banquet manager arrange for a member of the waitstaff to walk with the baskets. I didnt share my bathroom with anyone, but at least this way, you know the people will get them and others wont take two pairs.

I have never been to a party that had this before, but i think it is the BEST idea ever! To spend an extra $100 or so is completely worth it!!! Thanks for the great idea!!!

I went to the acqueduct flea market in Queens and negotiated with one of the vendors since I bought a bunch. I got them for $0.85 per pair.
