I have the best dad ever!

My dad surprised me and tool vaacation this week to work on my basement!!!!!

He put in all the new windows and replaced the support beam so we could move two of the 'polls' in the middle of what will be our living room. He also started studding out the walls today!!!

The support beam thing was a HUGE project and I cant believe he did it already!!!

I took some pics and will post the progress as we go!

The only downside is there is a permanent film of dust on everything down there due to the cutting of the cement....I have all my stuff that has not been unpacked yet squished in a corner and it just feels 'dirty' down there but I am confident it will be a gorgeous living room one day!!!!!!
