So my friend Jackie just found out I wasn't having a bachelorette party or shower because my daughter is my only bridal party and I have no family! So she posted this 'invite' on my facebook wall to help her plan a party for me!
**ETA** this is what she wrote on my wall...
Friends of Candice... Lets all get together and throw this lovely lady a Bachelorette Party she'll never forget.. Send me a messg here on FB. Jackie Arboleda and let...s plan a PARTY!!! WOOOHOOO!!

Honestly it is so sweet it almost made me cry. As a second time bride most people feel you don't need any of this stuff. And the few friends who it was discussed around have been shall we say 'not nice' about me having left them out of the bridal party.

I just realized that I forgot to tell you why it brought a tear to my eyes....this girl just lost her husband to cancer less than a year ago. She has two young daughters form him who she is now raising alone. She also has a 13 year old son from her first marriage. A couple of months ago he asked his mom if she would be OK with him living with his father in Florida. She selflessly said that would be fine because a boy needs his dad and she knew what a hard time he had with his step dad's death. So even after all of this she thinks of me!! She's amazing!
