I have to get this off my chest....

Our church is UGLY! (I know, did you think it was going to be something important?HA!)
I'm talking butt-a$$ ugly. The paint's peeling off the ugly doody brown, metal doors and it's darker than a dungeon inside. I'm looking at all of these pretty pictures on here from the church and I can't help but think mine are going to be scary

Awww - I kinda like SSPJ - haven't been there in a few years though.

the new St. Pat's Church is amazing though - almost made me want to change my mind and get married catholic

i thought my sisters church was ugly (im talking it looked like a shack!) (and couldnt believe she picked that church over the one we grew up in which is big and beautiful) but during the ceremony i wasnt paying attention to the church...i wouldnt worry about it!

Deb, I tried to get married in St. Pat's, but many moons ago, they asked me to leave their church (when I was trying to make my confirmation there about 13 years ago!). Anyway, they didn't like me then and I guess they don't like me now, so St. Philips and James it is!

I have the same issue. My church is all brown and plain. It is also really small, only 10 small pews on either side. The parking lot is really small and it is definetely not going to fit everyone!!!
